Yes I love Kelly Clarkson!!! There's nothing wrong with it!! (Stop it !! I can hear your sniggers!! Don't make me kick your arse to kingdom come for doubting my musical taste!!) Anyway back to Kelly, she's a lovely girl with a fantastic singing voice!! I like her even though she was from American Idol. Correction I like her even though she won the 1st season of that ridiculous farce of a quest for the next American Idol. OH PLEASE!!! like any other decent music fan I believe singers should write their own songs and play their own instruments. But... I have no desire to be a singer or the next American Idol mainly because I can't sing for shit and I'm not American. American Idol has really sucks balls this season ( for me) cuz as usual I'm one biased bitch. In my eyes, Kelly is the one and only American Idol who matters to me. Mainly because I don't give a flying fuck about the singing and performances of the Idol alumni *cough* Ruben *cough* Fantasia *cough* Carrie (UGH!! HATE HER!!) and last but not least Taylor Hicks whom I really think will only appeal to a niche market. So my question remains, if this is a competition for an American Idol, why is it that almost more than half of the winners cater to more or less a niche market. Hello!! When is the last time I heard something from Ruben Studdard or Fantasia? As for Carrie, she is always and will be a country chick to me. Not that I doubt her singing voice but HONESTLY when it comes to presence, Kelly trumps her any god damn day!! (Sorry to all you Carrie lovers!!) But it's the truth!! Carrie may be prettier *cough* BULLSHIT *cough* or thinner than Kelly but Kelly took risks in her career that Carrie didn't and I'm sorry to say this but her current 'hit' *rolls eyes* song "Before he cheats" isn't half as memorable as Kelly's newer songs. Anyway enough about Carrie Underwood. Hold up!! I MUST have one last jab..... CAN SHE BE ANYMORE BLAND! Miss Pretty she may be (say it with me again... BULLSHIT!!) Miss Personality she is not!
There I'm done bitching about Carrie Underwood. Now I'm going to talk about Kelly freaking Clarkson!! Whoo Hoo!! Her new song "Never Again" can be summed into one one word..... AMAZING!! The lyrics are so bitter and appeals to the jilted lover within me. The chorus is catchy as hell and the bridge is WOW..... just awesome!! So now my question is when is RCA going to fucking let her release her new album? I've been waiting for so long I lost count ( a lil dramatic but I'm sure most Kelly fans agree with me) She's having a new tour in July but her album date is still TBA and that just proves something. RCA don't know shit about what is good music. I mean they constantly pimp Avril album which can be summed to one one phrase: WORST DAMN THING! but they won't let Kelly release the album because she refuses to sing songs which are written by formulaic writers. (Correct me if I'm wrong)
That's why I'll never go into the music industry and I applaud Kelly for her insistence to have an album that she can be proud of. Maybe her new album "My December" may not do as well as "Breakaway" but I don't care and real fans of Kelly Clarkson won't. And in my opinion that's what matters because these are the people who will stand behind Kelly and attend her concerts. So I'll end this rant (?) by saying 'Kelly girl!! I may be nameless and faceless to you but as your loyal fan I've got your back. Go with your guts and I'll always believe you even if the entire world think you suck. (highly unlikely but I'm just saying) By the way her performance in "Idol Gives Back" is so chilling I find myself almost tearing. She made the song emotional without making it seem like she's trying to prove something. So if you wanna listen to that song got to ITunes and purchase the song!!! Support Kelly!!! YEAH!!!!
I realize that this post may not be intellectually stimulating or filled with my political thoughts. It's just that I read somewhere that Kelly is fighting with RCA to release the album the way she wants it to be released and that just pisses me off!!
By the way it's my holiday now. Did a little shopping but mostly I'm just vegging out and that's the way I like it. Cuz it's cheap and I don't need to deal with any traffic jams!!
