I think anyone who knows me knows that I'm a HUGE(both figuratively and physically) fan of Kelly Clarkson. Well now that Kelly's record label has decided not to release anymore singles from "My December". One of Kelly's biggest fan site, Kelly Clarkson Express has decided to create a fan-driven single and made a video about it. They have chosen "How I Feel" which is personally one of my favourite songs! So check out the video here

I realized that I never really commented or gave an album review on "My December", I know it's a little late but I'll give one now. ( My first time reviewing an album I hope I'm not doing it wrong!!)
Kelly Clarkson - My December
1. Never Again - One of my favourite songs on the album and her first single. I love it because it's so angry and bitter. Any girl who has ever suffered through a bad break-up will certainly understand the song. This song is now my caller ring tone and I'm not changing it anytime soon. 9/10
2. One Minute - At first, I wasn't a big fan of this song but after listening to it a few times, it grew on me. I mean when I heard and saw Kelly perform it live on Daytona 500, I hated it. Now.... I'm using it as my alarm tone which means it's the first thing I hear in the morning!! 7/10
3. Hole - Another favourite of mine!! It has such a hard edge to it!! Every time I hear it I feel like rocking out!! I especially love her live versions!! Not only is this one of my favourite song in this album, it's one of my favourite songs of all time!! It's also my ring tone and I get a thrill every time I hear it!! 10/10
4. Sober - This first time I heard this song, I was wowed by the lyrics. " i don't know this could break my heart or save me, nothing's real until you let go completely....Three months and I'm still sober, picked all my weeds but kept the flowers....." Such thoughtful lyrics and I definitely felt very pensive when I first listened to it. It's so sad that this song was not a successful single!! I mean there wasn't even a video made!! Nonetheless, it's one of my top favourites especially when she sings it live. 11/10
5. Don't Waste Your Time - Honestly, in my opinion, this is not one of Kelly's best songs. When I first heard it, I put it in the same category as "One Minute" and I thought the song will grow on me. But it's been almost half a year and I still dislike it!! I was a little surprise when this was chosen to be a single. Personally, I prefer "How I Feel". Still... I'll support this song on the charts because I'm a Kelly fan. 5/10
6. Judas - Hmm... I don't love this song nor do I hate it. I love the lyrics but I'm just not a big fan of the music. However I do prefer the live version compared to the studio version. I have always been a big fan of Kelly's live performances! 6/10
7. Haunted - Oh My God! I fell in love with this song the instant I heard it! I love the lyrics, the music....everything about this song just appeals to me! I do think that this song is not single material and I honestly don't think that Kelly will ever sing it live because I have a feeling that she feels it's too personal. 8.5/10
8. Be Still - Like Judas I do not particularly hate or love this song. I do understand it's Kelly's mother's favourite song. I just think that the song is too mellow for me and it just gave me Norah Jones vibe and I'm not a fan of her or her music. 5.5/10
9. Maybe - I love this song especially the lyrics! When heard her perform it live on AOL sessions, I was more than hooked! I could not stop listening to the song for like a week. "I'm confusing as hell. I'm North and South.... I don't need to be fixed and I certainly don't need to be found..." Wow!!! Love it! Love it! 9/10
10. How I Feel - One of my favourite songs ever! I just don't understand why the stupid record label did not release this as a single. I personally think that this is the most mainstream song in this album! "It seems every time I find a good man, he's got a good little wife. I'm not jealous but I won't lie, I don't wanna hear about your wonderful life..." Amazing!! 10/10
11. Yeah - When I first heard her perform this song on her "Addicted" tour, I didn't love it and I still don't love it but like "One Minute" it grew on me and I'm starting to feel the groove of this song. 7/10
12. Can I Have A Kiss - Love this song!! Love the fact that person that she sings about in the verses are different than the person she sings about in the chorus!! I was so happy when she sang the song on her Los Angeles "My December" tour!! 9/10
13. Irvine/ Chivas - When I first found out that Kelly wrote "Irvine" after one of her concerts, I thought what the hell happened that made her write a song that is so sad and made her question God? This song is not a favourite of mine not because I don't love it but I feel it's too personal for Kelly. Who am I to review a song that was written when she was feeling her absolute lowest? As for "Chivas" I laughed the first time I heard it. I was a little surprised because from the title, I thought it would be another "Hole". I love this song, I particularly love this song's simplicity!! Not rated for "Irvine", 10/10 for "Chivas"
So in conclusion, I give this album a rating of 8/10. I love 85% of the songs and I honestly prefer this album to "Breakaway" because this album seems much more introspective and personal.
