I'm so happy I'm not like uber huge over here!!

So it's like this... I went to the city last Saturday with like two of my roommates and I did a little shopping and lots of window-shopping... In the end I bought two leggings which cost 10 dollars each and a pair of flip flops that cost like 5 dollars!! To my everlasting amazement, I'm not a L size here!! For tops I'm between a S and a M as for bottoms I'm like a M!! M for Medium!! I haven't been a Medium for years and let's not even talk about Small!! And I'm not talking about old-fashioned clothes here!! I'm talking about trendy stuff!! Whoo!!! Back in KL, I'm like a L size or God forbid a XL size!! Here, I'm NOT!! As for heels, I saw plenty of designs and they're all at least 3 inches!! Ahh!! AND they were like on sale from 50% onwards up till like 80%!! To my disappointment, they were none in my size!! They were all like size 8 and above!! Talk about tres depressed at the sight of those gorgeous heels and me barely fitting into them to try them out!! Enough to make a girl mourn her small feet!! By the way, my flip flops are like XS!! I don't think I've ever been a XS in my life for anything!! As for the designs that are not on sale.... they're like at least 80 dollars each and as beautiful as they are, I'll be damned before I pay so much for heels that I probably won't get to wear it often here in Perth where I have to walk a lot!!

Anyway, today is my first time experiencing rain in good old Australia!! Yay!! The weather was awesome despite the rain!! This morning, I spent like two hours sitting on the verandah and reading some books and enjoying my instant coffee (BOO!! No Starbucks and I hate Gloria Jean!!) and the cool wind!! Seriously!! I was like on a high today because the past week has been like sweltering hot!! I took some pics but again I haven't uploaded them yet!! I figured I'll upload them all in one shot next time!!

Hmmm.... first week of classes have been quite nice actually and the lecturers are easy to understand!! I definitely cannot envision any problems with communicating with them!! I dont think I need to worry about them not understanding me!! I MUST get good grades not only to boost my average but to ensure I will have no problem overloading next sem!!
