Well now that Chinese New Year is officially over and I'm leaving for Perth in a few days...there's only one question on my mind and it's not about the whole Perak fiasco. It's not even about how heavy my luggage is or how many kilos it has exceeded the weigh limit.... It's about how much I'm NOT feeling homesick at all.... I can't say I'm gonna miss my friends a lot because I'll be seeing them online (which is where I see them most of the time anyway...) It's not even the local food because honestly I don't enjoy much local food like nasi lemak or mamak food ( I don't eat them anyway...) I'm not even really gonna miss my family because they're only a phone call or a pm away. Am I feeling nervous or nauseated at the thought of essentially living alone for the better part of the year? Not really.... I'll most likely be uncomfortable with the fact that I won't have a maid to clean up after me but I guess I can live with it.... After all there's no harm in learning new things.... All in all I'm not too excited nor am I feeling sad that I'm leaving because this is a sad,sad country we're living in right now...What with the Finance Minister who is also the Deputy Prime Minister busy with the whole Perak situation and now with two by elections that will again take up all his time to 'donate' money to people so that they'll vote for BN, he's probably not too concerned with the economic crisis that is sweeping across the world... *Sigh* after all he and his cronies have enough money to last a few lifetimes so why should he care about the little people i.e. us??
Anyway... I digress. I'm not knowledgeable enough to discuss the whole situation let alone comment or rant about it. So... I'll just busy myself with making sure that my luggage doesn't get any heavier. After all I booked 20kg for the luggage and it's hovering between 21kg to 22kg... Worse come to worse I'll just pay the god damned fine!!! Ugh!! I hate packing!!
