Everyone is talking about the whole Perak situation and almost everyone including myself is hating on that Hee Yit Fong (I'm being nice here... afterall...she'll receive her retribution one day...) and pelting stones at her home and office which I totally think she deserves it. Everyone who has a working brain is calling for re-elections and yet the Perak Sultan had refused to do so. For whatever reasons he has for this decision, the public has a better reason. All we want is a good government and a honest and just leader but apparently fairness and equality is not in the equation. The BN has like only 2 non UMNO seats in the so-called 'new government' which is absolutely unfair especially to the large Chinese population in the state. At this rate, no one will associate justice and fairness with this country, at this rate... we are only moving backwards who can save us but ourselves? Perakians are taking their dissatisfaction to the streets and there are going to be demonstrations tonight in Perak and as much as I hate all this drama.... I feel the people have no choice but to show to the so-called new government that they do not want them as the government. If rumors are true about 50,000 to 100,000 people will be voicing their dissatisfaction and that is not including the netizens who are vehemently(to put it mildly) protesting this decision. 50,000 people is no small amount but sadly I think BN or rather UMNO could care less about what the people think so all I can say is it's a sad sad day for all Malaysians who cherish fairness and equality.
